My ex is refusing to believe i am pregnant with his child. I have tried talking to him but he dosn`t want to know and has threatened me with police. I have been advised to tell his mum as she will be a grandparent but dont want to go behind his back. I know as a mum myself i would want to know if my child was having a baby. Can I take my ex to court for child payment and a dna test? As i know I am not lying

god how awful for you. dont really know the legalities but seems a bit odd that he would get the police involved,what does he think they can do?!!

im sure you would be able to take him to court to get a dna test and certainly to get some payment for his child.

theres a lot of websites that offer free legal advice,try doing a google search or go to your local citizen advice bureau,they are really helpfull and can put you in touch with a free half hour solicitor.

If you are on good terms with his mother then I would tell her, but if not don't, might cause more aggro.

Also DNA test can't be done until after the baby is born, which I suspect you already know, there'll be no denying it when you start showing.
