I went swimming today had a great time, feel great want to go again next week but was very upset to be called FATTY by a little boy of about 4 or 5. was there anything I could of said back or to his mother?

At four or five, he's probably just repeating things he heard somewhere else!
So not much point in saying anything back to him.
If the mother was with him and did not appologize on his behalf I'd put that down to seriously bad manners on her side, but really, is it worth getting all wound up by it?

Thank you 888sally888, I was very temped to wring my swimming costume out over his clothes, He'd discarded them on the bench near me, he is very lucky that I get upset were as I should get even, He hasn't stopped me going though and it's week three tomorrow!
I was once called Chunk (I presume he of Goonies fame). I did take this as a compliment though as I was recovering from an eating disorder.
