if they have them tray table thingys you could take some thick chunky crayons and paper, some story books to read to her, maybe a couple of them tray jigsaws that have little figure peices with handles, not really noisy toys that might disturb the other passengers, dont forget dummy/comfort blanket or favourite teddy for sleeping and some of her favourite little drinks and snacks.

we used to pack a small bag of new toys: magnetic board with shapes, or the felt boards if they still make them, small doodle thing (like etch a sketch), toys that transformed - great to keep little fingers amused, there's a great shop in Salisbury, Wiltshire called Hawkins Bazaar who do mail order.

We also took scrap books and collected everything, menus, leaves, bus tickets, coins, etc. we found it a great way to entertain the boys as they would sit quietly in restaurants filling in their books - don't forget to take glue and sticky tape!

Have a great holiday- been to Zante, many years ago and we loved it.

we used to have a little kiddies tape recorder and headphones with storytapes and music.

Thanks so much for these suggestions. I will certaintly look into see if we can find a web site for that shop.

Thanks

or...another option is to possibly give her some calpol/or similar as it tends to make them drowsy.she should go to sleep, that way you can also avoid the bad ears etc from the flight.i used to suffer with bad ears as a baby and my little sis was absolutly hyper throughout the whole flight,so a bit of mediine sure worked on her!! good luck and have a great hols xx

I was told by a pharmacist to give my baby daughter Phenergan which is an anti travel sickness medicine as it makes the baby drowsy so she would sleep. It would also stop any sickly feeling that you wont actually know about because she is too young to tell you!

It does work too! Enjoy your holiday xx
