My sister has a problem with her teenage daughter, she's 15, most of the usual stuff, cheeky etc. but she has found her with at least 6 mobile phones, has been caught truanting and smoking, as well as all the lies about where she has been. But my question is how can I find and article that was published in a magazine a couple of months ago. My daughter said she remembers seeing something about girls involved with drugs and prostituting and having several mobile phones in their possession. I don't want to be an alarmist to my sister until I have more facts. can anybody remember this article or where can I go to get more info on this frightening matter

Has your sister actually asked her daughter where she got 6 mobiles and why she needs them??
The likelyhood of this I'm afraid is that she must have stolen the phones from school or something and really truanting and smoking is part of being a teenager, I wouldn't say to much to your sister as you could be over worrying her
Hi mrs ladybug, how was your holiday? My eldest has just turned 16,same thing i'm afraid she was traunting, when she did go in i'd get a call telling me she was ill and could she come home, she was always fine, she did go through a phase of stealing briefly but thank god she stopped that pronto, the problem i found was that she started hanging about with a certain group that was known for all of the above, she has now admitted to smoking but i'm waiting for the day she starts work, meets new people and grows up properly!!

Hi kipchik, fine thanks.
thanks for your input, guys. I know having teenagers is a worrying time. Mine weren't angels but I am glad to say I didn't have too many problems. They truanted and told lies and got caught smoking, but we seemed to get through it without too much damage!
I will just tell her to be strong and hold on in there and dont stop being vigilant.
