oh that was a hyperthetical question because i was really starting to wonder if i had made the wrong choice and wanted to know what others thought, my mam and dad think they are charvery i was lyk eh?:S charvery??But my third child is called erin may which thankfully everyon likes!
they're lovely names, but like Sally has already said, all names given to our children are our own personal preferences. For example I called my baby Georgia, alot of folks may hate it. Do I care? Do I bu88ery, I love it (and hopefully she will when older!)
chloe and olivia are very pretty and I' don't think either are chavvy. Chloe is quite common - as in frequent not class lol- Parents eh who'd have em. My son is Maximilian - max for short- and most importantly he loves his name and now uses it in it's full version.
And I like the name Sally too ...why does no-one use it any more?
My Daughters name is Olivia and I adore it!!!!
It's a classic name and not many around but it's not a silly "made up name" either.
I shorten it to Livvy, Oli, Lollypop, Lolly and Liv depending on my mood!!!!

P.S I know Lollypop is actually longer but it sounds so sweet (excuse the pun!) :O)

Why not just let her have it done!! its safer than crossing the road or eating a takeaway. Millions of kids are having it done and very few have problems, just ensure you go with her and be informed. You could point out to her that these days to be different she should maybe not have it done.

Its such a minor piercing no pain, no blood, a little discomfort for a few days, (providing its done right) not worth fighting over!!

I had mine done years ago
Ok, that answer should have gone to the tongue piercing quesrion, Oh well!! cant be assed to write it all again.
Both are beautiful names - they are really pretty and I agree that it's not important what your friends think. I don't know why they would dislike them but they get the thumbs up from me.

Girlygirl - I noticed from your answer that you nickname your daughter Lollipop - I call my youngest daughter Holly , Hollypop but my hubby calls her Hollybops or Miss Bops. My eldest daughter Gemma gets Gemsie (Gemsie bear when she was younger but as she's nearly nine now , she's way too cool for that ! ) and my little boy Matthew gets Matt Pat - which I hate. It's not as if his middle name is Patrick , it's just that it rhymes and reminds my hubby of sunpat peanut butter (the boy in the advert was Matt) Isn't it funny how we spend so long choosing the right name for our child and worry about others shortening it , only to end up corrupting it ourselves lol !
Enigma - LOL LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!! You're so right!
Chloe is supposed to be the most populat girl's name,as it has been for a number of years. I have been teaching for 8 years and have only known one Chloe. I have been at my current school for 6 years and there hasn't been 1 Chloe.
There you go
