Lack of hygeine

Doesn't any parent teach their children these days about using handkerchiefs or tissues to sneeze into or at least wipe their noses after sneezing as it is becoming increasingly disgusting to see children approaching teenage years without even the basic requirements of good manners. Almost as bad, some people would sya worse, is the way that young people constantly sniff instead of clearing their noses, especially on buses, trains and even libraries. There is nothing wrong with blowing your nose to clear it - as long as you don't inspect the contents afterwards, of course. Even as I sit here in the library, typing this, there are 2 teenagers constantly sniffing.

It is surprising how many children have that green drip constantly hanging fro their noses isn't it?!

In class I have a box of tissues on my desk, there are lots of chlidren who recognise the fact that they need to blow their nose but you can bet your life on the few children that come up each year who would happily sit there and have a conversation with you, licking their top lips and giving an almighty sniff every time the trail reaches that point! yuk!!

my girls all carry the handy packs in their school bags and have tissues in their rooms. But I agree that the most disgusting thing is a small child with green snot hanging, I have been known to offer tissues to mums so they can wipe the childs noses - some are grateful ,some are quite irate, but hey ho !!!!!!!
