this is called child abuse where i come from ie Britain.
I would NEVER, EVER advocate biting a child for whatever reason. The biting will wear off, instead of biting her try removing her from her sister and be extra vigilant when they are together. Occupy her mind with something else to chew instead, at the age of one she is not aware of going out to "bite" someone.

I understand what the above comments is saying as i too disagree with 'abuse' to a child and would never hit my little girl but last week she bit me out of agression and marked me (she is almost one) so i bit the fleshy part of her leg enough for her to feel it but not to cause pain and certainly not mark her i then walked away she was shocked that it had hurt and cried for a min or two then came to me for a cuddle. I gave her a hug and told her that it hurts to bite and is naughty. She has not done it again!!
Before a baby can talk they get so frustrated because they cant say what they want or think, i read in a baby book to say to your baby i understand you are feeling frustrated because you dont want your nappy changed/ you want that toy/ you dont want to get dress etc but ....and then explain the reason why.
I know it sounds silly but it really has worked for me i dont know if its because your are speaking in a calm voice or what but its great, anything is worth a try with an angry baby!!
Good luck!
