Burping

Should i stop burping my son when he starts solids? I am told that he is then able to bring up his own wind. I have been through this already with my 1st son who is now 6 and a half but it seems such a long time ago now!!!

around a year old i should think or when you feel he no longer need to be burped, but if he's not on the bottle he wont be so full of air, so use your instinct and you wont go wrong.

I stopeed winding my kids wehen they could sit up on there own. all kids are different though.

Lots of cultures have no knowledge of our 'burping' rituals. If you sit a baby upright it will burp of its own accord.
