Just persever, when he is thirsty enough he will use it, also, you could another couple and you and your husband use them too for a few days and he may well want to copy you. Sometimes this works in children this age.

If you have no joy after a few days, then put it away and try again a week later. Nobody went to school still drinking from a bottle, so he will get there in the end.

Best wishes.
show your son u drinking from a cup with a straw and he willw ant to do it too
Don't worry bout it too much, they will do it probably when your not looking!! Also if he goes to play school/nursery etc and sees other children doing it he wont want to miss out!

Mimififfi n joycey have great ideas too, whatever works for you. xxx
it is obvious that the bottle is a comfort zone for him , and children do grow out of it but a relaxed approach with this will go a long way the more you fight him on it the more he will dig his heels in, if u do as has been said by others but at the same time make a surprised mmmmmmmmmmmmm sound when your son is around and then leave the cup to one side and go away he will at some point be so curious as to the taste from a cup he will sneak a sip from yours this certianly worked with my daughter who had the same problem
good luck
