6yr old driving me insane.
I have two girls oldest 9 youngest 6, and they are driving me insane, they are constantly fighting, bickering, hitting each other, the oldest one is very well mannered and respectful to others, however the youngest is 6 and she is the devil child, I have completely given up, you can't shout at her because she laughs at me, she thinks farting and burping is funny, she constantly backchats me..............I have spoken with her teacher at school and she is apparently the most loving, helpful and well mannered child.
The oldest one I think is hitting puberty and she is having the most amazing temper tantrums and she can get very violent towards my youngest and me.
Yet the minute hubby walks through the door.........Is it a phase they are both going through at the minute and what can I do to let them know that there behaviour is wrong. I could understand there behaviour if me & hubby were arguing and violent towards each other,

dont accept backchat at all and send her to her room/ area, I use the bottom of the stairs coz there is nothing to do there.
putting her in her pj's early works well for me especially before daddy comes home. this works with all of them.
you have left it a bit late to change their behaviour but this is what i do with my girls. don't forget to praise all good behaviour and if a star chart works with a reward for good behaviour at the end of the week then i would use it.
hope you can use some of this on your girls.

Hello, I really think you need to be watching nanny 911 or one of those programmes, cause what they do works.
The would make a list of rules, respect, no hitting etc..
put them on the wall and have a chart.
Let them know what will happen if they do not stick to the rules. so you decide do you want to ground them or take their stuff away. I did it and I took all my kids stuff away and they had to earn it back bit by bit!! It does work honest!
When they get so many good points on the chart each day then they get something back or they get a treat.
You need to find a new serious face and let them know that you mean it and get your husbands 100% support.
Make the rules to gether.
If they fart, without saying excuse me, they lose a fav toy or a chart star. same if they are rude at any time... also try and eat meals together and each meal that goes well is a HUGE thing so reward well.
Also without all this horribleness going on you can have family time once a week and start talking to your daughter about puberty and help her understand her feelings!!
Good Luck xx
