Pyjamas and Pants
Can someone settle a completely silly argument me and my friend are having. She says her son who's three should wear underwear under his pyjamas at night. I say he shouldn't. Can anyone help settle this silly debate? Although I don't think there is a right or wrong answer.

I asked my husband about supporting the testicles, and and he said that's silly. Most guys don't even wear jock straps anymore during basketball, etc. because they have proven unnecessary in most cases. Testicles don't need support, and certainly not while one sleeps. Testicles aren't heavy like stones, and they certainly don't swing around. My two sons just sleep in their boxers and have never complained about lack of support. That's absurd.

I think its a matter of choice - my children don't normally wear underwear at night except on sleepovers. DS did start wearing underwear for bedtime for a while but I put a stop to that when I realised he thought it okay to wear the same pair of underpants at night that he wore all day and to continue with the same ones the following day too!
