you could put her in a sling while you do the chores at home and talk to her about what you are doing. or sing to her! she will love it and it will make what you are doing a bit more enjoyable.
enjoy this time as it goes so quick x

I carried both of our children in a 'snuggly' facing my chest when they were at their tiniest. Later we bought the next version where they rode in a 'back pack'. I'd swear I have a small patch in the back of my head where there is no hair, from my daughter pulling it out in patches, trying to direct me to go where she wanted!
But for bonding, entertainment, AND exercise, I'd swear by the famous Snuggly!
be well

You need a better sling! I suspect you've tried a high street style which will do your back in and isn't great for baby's spine either.
If you check out somewhere like http://www.thebabywearer.com/ you'll see there are so many more out there and they are very comfy too. The weight is distributed more evenly than the baby bjorn types. I carry my children in a sling until they are about 2 1/2, I find it easier than a buggy.
You can then get on with what you need to do as baby is learning loads without you even trying. They love watching you being sociable and getting on with jobs, all from the safe secure place of being close to Mum.
