ok the father wants to sign all of his rights to my son but the question i have is if he does this does he still have to pay child support and if u can plz give me a stright answer about it the best u can ty

As far as I am aware the only reason for a natural father to stop paying maintenance is if the child is legally adopted.

A father doesn't have to have parental responsibility in order to be liable for support payments.

I think this question isn't only a legal one, but a moral one. A straight answer isn't always possible!

I agree with Pippa, it's sounds like the father is trying to get out of paying child support to me, is that right?

At the end of the day no matter what he does he will always be the child's biological father.

What do you mean 'sign his rights over to your son'? Do you mean the rights to the house, or something else?

If it is the house that you mean then 1) it will have to kept in trust until the child reaches adult age, and 2) no matter what assets are handed over, child support is still payable.
