Difficult milk teeth
My son is 5 & his bottom two front teeth have been loose for over a month now. His adult teeth are growing up behind. The problem is that now one of the teeth is all over the place as it were, but still firmly attached by the root (which is supposed to "disolve" as the new ones push through, which is not the case as they are growing so far back). Has this happened to anyone else here & is there anything I can do?

The issue is that they start to use their new teeth for biting and the old ones dont get any use to help them on the way out. His new teeth are perfectly straight and the dentist said that he would rather that the baby teeth are left to come out on their own (try to encourage them with a bit of wobbling) than him remove them which could be quite traumatic for them and put them off going to the dentist.
We told him that he had shark teeth and he was quite proud of them.
