Smoking & Babies

Good afternoon all
Havent posted on here for a while. Me and my wife (lorrymac on here) are due in under 3 weeks now.
My mums partner smokes and while he doesn't smoke inside I am unsure as to how long after he has had a smoke he can come in contact with our baby and for it to be safe to do so? There was a big deal made of smokers break after a smoke and how it can damage the babys lungs.
Thanks
Dean

Thanks for your replies
Might seem silly for her to say 60mins etc etc, but a small amount is so bad for anyone so you can imagine what is will do to immature lungs that are still growing. I think I will use this advise then. If her partner smokes on the day he can go near our baby after 60mins but can not hold the baby unless he changes his clothes...which I am sure he wont mess around doing. Would be easier to just quit!
