It was "Family", and although "Family" was crap I think it covers more than "Parenting". What are they doing it for???

They are doing it because they think it will stop us moaning about what little they do. They think if we just pop up a new random category every now and then people will think we actually care.

Hi Answerbankers We seem to have caused some confusion out there in AnswerBank Land with the launch of the �Family� channel and its subsequent change to �Parenting� - so here�s the low down - Having looked at the early posts in the category we felt the title �Family� was too general, as our aim was to create a category for parents / expectant parents to ask questions about any aspect of parenting from pregnancy to problems with teenagers! Hence the name change to better reflect this. There will be more new channels based on your suggestions, in time and we hope to put new ones to the vote. We are working on technical solutions to many of the issues raised in the Suggestions category which are aimed giving you the kind of functionality you need. Keep your suggestions coming in and we will keep you up to date with our progress.
