Maybe she is ready for finger food that she can feed herself (or himself - forgive me, I'm just using shorthand). Try giving her pieces of tofu or soft fruit, and see if she wants to do it herself! Some babies just don't like the pureed stuff.
Maybe your baby just doesn't enjoy the choices you are giving her - try a few other varieties, or make some yourself, just puree what you are having - assuming you're not a a diet of curry and vodka (!) and she'll soon realise that you are eating the same thing. Worked with our youngest.
As a family, we all like quite spicy, highly flavoured food. I fed my son on pureed versions of the same (minus the salt) and he loved it. He never would eat baby rice and all the mild flavoured food suggested. He still lives to tell the tale and real ale is now his favourite 'food'. (Toast and marmite fingers were also a firm favourite - I don't think Marmite has a high salt content now)
Above all, don't get stressed. Your baby will pick up on to your feelings and get fretful her/himself. Babies very rarely starve themselves and she/he will soon eat when hungry, given a choice of either finger foods, or something you've prepared. Make mealtimes pleasureable and relaxed - try not to worry about the waste food, there's sure to be some!
babies this age are very interested in the texture of their foods. try foods that have interesting textures and aren't as pureed as the earlier foods. plus as long as they have teeth they can try all sorts of adult foods that are soft or easily mush up in their mouths. the sooner you teach them to chew the less you have to worry about choking and such so as long as the peices aren't too big they can have almost anything. just stay away from hard nuts and candy and honey at this age. and sharing what your having can also help but be prepared to be shaing for a while till they learn to sit down to their own plate.
