My 4 Year old still seems to have nightmares about everything and anything and is driving us mental. It seems the slightest thing triggers this off, from her friend annoying her to god knows what. Any ideas on a remedy to this, Cheers

Try calm him. Say god doesn't mind if you do something bad, he still loves you. God would just be happier if your a better boy and he will be proud of him. then if your esperate, give hima treat when he's good for about every week, like one bar of choclate or somrthing. For other things tell me what he's so afraid of first.
Oops i read your thing a different way and i thought he was afraid about GOD KNOWING EVERYTHING Sorry
This sounds like Night Terrors .... does she suddenly wake up screaming and not seem to know who you are for a while then gradually calms down? I would get in touch with your GP as Nigth Terrors is a common ailment and they will be able to give you excellent advice on how to help combat the situation. Hugs to you, they DO grow out of it eventually but I know from seeing a friend's child who had this that is it very distressing for the parents. xxx
I used to have the same problem, i am only 15, so it wasn't that long ago. My father would not let us see ANY movies that might scare us or make us belive in any monsters, of anything of the sort. and when I was yonger, I had seen a small part of one of the "goosebumps" movies, and i couldn't go so far as two feet away from anyone with out being terrified. so if it is her friend that is making her upset, it might be because she is seeing scary things she has no need to see. if this is the case, i would sudjest that you call the childs mother, and ask her to monoter better thier actions. so now that my father has not let me see horror movies i can easliy go into dark basements and attics, that would terrify others, so if that is the problem (as much as they complain) they or she rather will thank you for it later my opinion, hope that it makes sence, after all, i am only 15
It is possible that she has either Nightmare Disorder (can recall the dreams) or Sleep Terror Disorder (cannot recall dreams). What does she do when she wakes up? Is she crying or yelling? Either way, you should consult a doctor or mental health specialist.
