It must be hard dealing with the end of your parent's marriage. Although I wouldn't have reacted in the way your mother has, I would say she is right to not want you to move home at such a young age.

I would suggest family counselling, to help you come to terms with this difficult and unhappy situation. Also, if you live with a family friend, how do you plan to support yourself? You cannot really expect this family friend to look after you financially
Living away from home at the tender age of 16 is not what you imagine it might be...I speak from experience! Please think long and hard about the practical aspects of this and dont do anything hasty. I hope things work out for you. Take care. x
im sorry to here things are so bad at the mo i left home at 17 and it was hard you really need to think long and hard its such a big decision for such a tender age , keep the lines of communication open with your mum and dad and talk to them, rationally they will seeyou as a young adult then not someone who needs parenting good luck hun x
How are things now Ginnymo?? Let us know. xxx
