You don't say how old your daughter is, but it's very normal to be apprehensive about going to new places and having to leave the security of "home". Is she normally unwilling to go away or is this her first time? Will you be travelling by plane? It's hard to know what to say as you haven't given us much to go on : )
Yes, I agree with dirtyharriet- we need more info! Are these family holidays with you? How old is your daughter? How far away are you going? And how are you travelling? I used to physically and mentally hate going away on holiday (even though I liked it when I was there) because I suffered terribly from seasickness and was scared of being sick and feeling ill on the ferry. I also didn't like long car journeys for the same reasons. If you could give us some more info, I'm sure you'd get some really good advice. There are lots of fantastic posters on this site!

i think she may not like it as everytime she goes away she gets fingered by horny little 13 year old boys in the swimming pool and in your bed while you are sunbathing.
My 10 year old hates to go anyplace her friends are not. I find that the complaints come mostly during the days leading up to a trip. The trick is to not get upset about the complaints, promise a good time, and deliver it. Keep her busy/entertained while away and she will forget that she hates going away.
i still hate being away from home overnight and i'm 25.  when i was a kid i got sick when i stayed overnight at a new house.  i'm perfectly normal otherwise,(at least as much as anyone) so i wouldn't worry much.  if you have to go, bring some things that will comfort her like a pillow or blanket from home.  and if you usually have a quiet house maybe opt for less socializing before she goes to bed or if she's older help her find something quiet to do in a less busy area.  plus she can find great postcards nearly anywhere to write her friends, family or even herself (or pet at home).  and send them before you leave.  it may not seem so bad remembering her postcard in the comfort of home, and kind of melds the two worlds together, so she might remember she's really not that far away.
