i have come back to the uk with my daughter after finding out my wife is pregnant by a spanish drug dealer scum bag and had no contact from her for nine weeks, she now says i  am wanted by the spanish police for abduction,can this be right and will the uk police be visiting me?

I am certainly not qualified to advise you, but for what it's worth, I don't see how you can be guilty of abducting your own child, unless you are in breach of a previous court order eg access limitations or other restriction. You have every right to take her wherever you want unless you are specifically required not to.

Can you prove that this person is a drug dealer have they any previous confictions., check this as you will need proof otherwise it's your word which will mean nothing in a court of law and they normally go on the mothers side plus she will probally tell them a few stories about you (like slapped her, affairs etc).So get some proof then you should hopefully be ok good luck

The only thing you can do is consult a solicitor for advice, different countries have different laws, so certainly under spanish laws, you could have broken the law, you need to find a solicitor who specialises in these cases, most times you will be able to have a free initial consultation with them to discuss it. You need to be aware of the spanish laws. Bearing in mind, other countries can be more strict with their laws and punishments than britain!

Given that you and presumably your daughter and maybe your wife are UK citizens, I can't see why the Spanish police or laws would have any part to play. They would have to extradite you and if Ronnie Biggs can get away with it.....!

I believe your wife would have to sue you in the UK for custody. Not sure that Spanish law could be enforced if you are both UK citezens and you are in the UK. The problem here is your child will miss his/her mother, for all her wrong doing, it is so hard I wish you luck.
