My 13 month old was using a sleeping bag, however this week i have introduced a duvet (coverlet) which he is fine with. I was wondering when is the best time to give him a thin pillow?

Hi, can I ask why you want your little one to have a pillow? He does not need one. Just because us grown ups use them it does not mean little ones do. Pillows are not necessary, save your money and let him sleep naturally.
You can give them one as longs as they are over 12months so your son will be fine with one now.
I remember giving my daughter one for the first time and she looked all cosy and sweet! Now though she does often wriggle down and not use it very much so its up to you!

apologies, I did not mean to annoy you with my response. I wrongly assumed you were wanting to give him a pillow.
