Baby Monitors
Hi all - can you please give recommendations for a decent baby monitor please? Ours has finally packed in and we'll need to get a new one before November when new baby is due! Thanks x

We did have a Tommee Tippee one before that but i was sat listening out for my baby one night and then i could hear someone talking, then music. It had suddenly started picking up another monitor nearby instead of our own. Nothing stopped that and we eventually got a refund.
The best one though is a plug in tomy one that i use at my mums house, its about 15 years old but i can hear every sound baby makes

We had a Tomy one for child face 1, now use it forchild face 2!! Before you buy one however check your house phone, some digital landline phones have a baby listening facility on them! Ours is a fairly cheap Binatine Veva model phone but it has the facility, although we have never actually used it I must admit, having retained number 1 son's monitor!
