Ignorant Boyfriend

My boyfriend(4teen) is really starting to act like he owns me and things like that, and i'm 3teen. He really got me mad the other day when he said if i don't tell him what I did with his picture from last year he would try and hook up with one of my friends that he sees sometimes. He goes to a different school. He did the same before when last year when we went out. Should I break up with him or should we try and work it out? I appreciate the comments! superstar22

At 13 you are way to young to be trying to work it out!  Dating at this age should be fun and if it's not working out with a particular boyfriend - move on and don't let him mess you about.  Maybe you would have more fun going around with a group of friends - girls and boys and not tying yourself to anyone in particular.

Superstar - I know you are very young, but if he controls you now, just wait until you are married or have children (if it went on as far as that). My older sister married a control freak. She stayed with him for the sake of the four children, but her life was total misery, 75% of the time. He critised everything good thing she did. It's sad, but she & the children had mixed emotions, but with a sense of relief, when he died of throat cancer some years ago. The decision lies at your feet Superstar, but I know what I would do - just walk away. Life is too short!

ok well if you realy like this guy and really dont want to break up with him, then talk to him about it, honestly its the best idea, it will work, that might result in breaking up but yet again it may not.
if you are finding this a horrible relationship, hurting you, not fun, painful etc then you should split up with him beacuse whats the point of staying with him if your not having an fun ey?
he might get anoyed etc but at least you no its the best thing to do for you, just tlak to him about it gently, write him a letter mayb? hope this helps xx

You should be having fun, he obviously is not worth your attention, find someone else, someone who treats you better, there are plenty of guys out there who will... Don't put up with stuff like that from anyone let alone someone who should care about you!

im 4teen nd i say dump the controlling winker. hes probably one of the "your fit but my gosh dont you know it" male versions. i hate those guys. DUMP HIM!!!!! in front of all his friends and tell him why ;o)

i have been in your situation before and you are way to young to be putting yourself through this torture. He has you wrapped around his finger i dont know you but i know anygirl can do a whole lot better then a guy like that. I wish you the best. Follow your heart it will tell you the right thing to do.
