has anyone had two babies within a year of eachother?

if so what was it like? And how do you manage? i will be in this situation next May and i would like an idea on what to expect

I haven't had two babies within a year but I have had twins when my other children were 7, 4 and 2 1/2 - I find being organised really helps (sounds obvious I know). I do anything that has to be done whenever the babies are both in a good mood (for example, if I can I will prepare our tea in the morning when they are playing and then I microwave it at tea time, then, if they are grumpy at tea time I don't have to amuse them and make tea). I didn't think I would be able to manage when I found out I was having twins but you'd be surprised at what you can do. Good luck.

I had a 2 year old , a 10 month old when my third was born.

It was a hard work and probably explains why my much longed for 4th child didn't arrive until the 3rd one was 7.

It's actually not as tiring as it sounds - the tiring bit is explaining to others how old the children and seeing the "looks". As long as you have a rountine should be fine although you don't get much me time.
