I am expecting child number 4 and have tried breast feeding 2 of the previous but have inverted nipples so after a lot of stress and upset for both of us I have given up much to my dissapointment. I have been told that I cant express straight away but have noticed some posts from mums saying they have, i am wanting to know if i can express and feed baby my milk instead of having to feed formula. I have been looking at electric breast pumps to use, as other children are older i have time to express whenever needed so it wouldnt be too much trouble, can anyone advise me please. Thx.
I am sure that many people find there are ways like this to solve the problem. You could try asking La Leche or a similar breastfeeding support group for specific/other ideas.
did you watch the programme embarassing illnesses on 4 tonight, this had come up and the lady had surgery, go on the channel 4 website and check it out
I only have 10 wks to go before baby born so this not an option. I have also had surgery on both breasts before for lumps removing and would rather not go down that road again. Thx anyway
