Some women don't experience any morning sickness at all during pregnancy while others can spend most of the first few months with constant sickness. When i was pregnant i was fortunate to only be physically sick a couple of times, the rest of the time i felt a bit queesy but not actually sick. Regarding taking Paracetamol, i was told i could in small doses, ie; if you normally take 4 a day only have 2. About cold remedies, they are a no no, unfortunately you just have to grin and bear it, i had 2 major colds during my pregnancy, you can inhale steam, and have lemon and honey, that's about it i'm afraid. Hope i have been of help to you. Good luck in your pregnancy. X
My morning sickness didn't kick in until about week 8 and then it was more a general 'bleurgh' feeling where I was never actually sick. By week 14 it went completely. I wouldn't believe that not feeling very ill means you're having a boy because mine's due in May and definitely a girl! I was convinced it would be a boy but that's my instincts for you. Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy.
I had two children (first a boy, then a girl) and never had morning sickness with either of them. It must depend on your body type, like a lot of people are sick after anaesthetic, but I wasn't; I was ravenous. Don't worry about it; enjoy your good luck, because it must be horrible to puke all the time!
