hi all

I am planning an army party for my 8 year old and would love to ''theme'' the party bags

I have Water pistols, those little parachute men, and snapz (those things you throw on the ground and they go bang)

any idea's for further things - am really struggling with army themed sweets

Thanks in advance

You could just buy green/black sweets so that they look like camoflage sweeties!

Great army man pinata in this link:

sweet, packets of lemon sherbert (jungle juice) that you dip your finger in and it turns yellow with your toungue.

Choc monies in gold foil but with ribbon attached as 'campaign medals' - they could earn them in games like 1st to crawl through tarpaulin.
a small tin of camoflauge paint??
My nephew had his birthday last week and my sister in law made him a sponge cake shaped like a tank. She managed to make the whole sponge different colours throughout so it looked like camoflage. It was great! I'm not sure how easy it was but if you are any good at that sort of thing could be a good idea that fits with your theme.
When my boys were younger, I made up some fabulous party bags by filling them with novelties from Hawkins Bazaar. They have shops all round the country. They sell bags of plastic soldier figures for £5, and if you go online to Party Works, they sell really good, strong, colourful bags to put everything into, as well as individual cake boxes, tablecloths and all sorts.
Hope it all goes well for you.
Sorry - forgot to add, you might find this useful.
