Could I be pregnant?
I am asking this as it is near impossible to get a doctor's appointment where I am.
I was on holiday about 6 weeks ago. I had sex 2 days before we were due to leave, we used a condom but it split. I am on the pill but because of the time difference I'm not sure if I took it correctly. We left on the Monday and arrived home on the Tuesday. I took the morning-after pill as soon as I arrived in the UK. The pharmacist at Boots said I was still within the 72 hour mark. My periods are not regular and the nature of the pill I am on means some months I get a period and some months I don't so I can't say whether I am late or not. I have taken 2 pregnancy tests, both of which were negative. My problem is I am feeling sick, I can't sleep, I feel extremely tired and my appetite is through the roof. I know it seems very vague, I am just in a bit of a panic. I would appreciate any help.

Maybe what 4get is referring to is people who go through pregnancy while still having periods and who therefore don't do a test and don't realise they are pregnant until much later - that is reasonably common especially if you are on the pill as that gives you a false period. I think after the early days a pregnant woman would get a positive result on a pregnancy test.
Apologies if I have called that wrong.

that is supposed to be a myth, you cannot have a period and be pregnant unless you have some unique conditions like a double womb

cazz, that link just backs up what I said, that if you are on the pill you can have a false period while pregnant and also gives other reasons for period like bleeding in early pregnancy - you wont have a period as such as that is not possible as you say unless you have a double womb, but you can commonly get bleeding that you could mistake for a period especially if your periods aren't regular.
maybe i shouldnt have said right through. I was just following on from ummm saying at 6 weeks you would test positive when from forums i have been on people have said they never tested positive and had to have blood tests. Im sure after that they wouldnt have needed to do another test. My mate was an unfortunate one that had periods throughout and didnt know till about 7 months gone.
