period or still bleeding after c-section!?

hi
i had a c-section 4 weeks ago, and had the contraceptive injection 2 weeks ago
i am still bleeding from when i delivered...it isnt heavy or anything to worry about but bcoz i have had the contraceptive jab iv no idea when to expect a period :( any one have any ideas or experienced this...i no u can bleed for 6 weeks but now iv had the jab everything is in a muddle lol!

It is not unusual to bleed for several weeks following an abdominal hysterectomy despite the injection of a contraceptive injection.

This is not a period, but post operative normal bleeding and as the sutures dissolve,it may get worse for a short period of time.

Nothing to worry about at this juncture.
