I am 20 weeks and we found out were having our first girl after he already have 2 boys. The sonographer said she was sure it was a girl and assured she wouldn't be telling us unless she knew for sure. Then came the doctor to confirm her readings and also said he was "looking at a girl". I hear all these stories about wrong readings and one havng the total opposite sex. Please tell me if I shoudl relax?
the are about 95% accurate.
perhaps buy unisex clothes or keep the tags on everything until you know for sure.
of course you could always ask santa for a 3d scan for later in your pregnancy?
Keep an open mind. That happened to my daughter's friend. She bought everything for a girl and it turned out to be a boy. I think they are more likely to get it right if it is a boy.
They are usually right these days. My daughter is expecting a girl, so she has been told. She already has one of each so she is pleased. Good luck. Brenda
I was worried about the same thing in my pregnancy. You will always have that doubt in your mind, no matter how many scans that you have. I had 3 three scans and everytime i asked them to check again. However a friend of mine got told she was having a boy all the way through her pregnancy and she gave birth to a girl.
