Dose any know about the law changing to 39 weeks and not 26 leave and were I can find it in writing dose my partner get longer or is it just 2 weeks

its changed to 52 weeks (for those eligible) from 26 weeks.

so its now 6 weeks at 90% pay and then 46 weeks max at SSMP (about �108 per week)

Sorry to jump in on your question, but does the 6 weeks at 90% apply to all full-time working people? or are there laws/exceptions to this, do you know?

read the info on the links as i think it explains better than i certainly could. It should be all women that have been in employed for so many weeks when they fall pregnant.
Some employers pay more and for longer out of personal choice and loyalty to staff but this is the minimum allowance.
