How soon can you conceive after you have had the IUD taken out, assuming you start trying immediately?

It depends if it was a hormone coil or not. Best to confirm with your GP/Practice nurse or FPC.

As a standard coil only effects the implantation process, you could conceive the month it is removed. If a hormone coil (eg Mirena), it may take longer due to the residue hormones in your system, but this is not always the case.
