Hi
Don't know about your pram thing but sure I have seen on here in the last hour or so someone has got a pram they dont want - maybe you could get in touch?
hi nat,
new, the system wouldve cost about 550.
points to consider are:
how old is system, i cant recall seeing that fabric in last 2 years at my local store.
How can you be sure the car seat has not been involved in an accident, they need replacing even if they dont look damaged
I have the ultima system on the large wheeled base and it is very heavy, the seat and footmuff is now getting to point where baby crx is almost too big for it at 21 months old.
You will need to replace the mattress in the carrycot as well.
baby crx was in the carrycot until he was 6 months old but he did look a bit squashed, mind you he was a very big baby lol
Me again - It's xanderma under Family>Family Life>What can i do with my old pram. Just in case you don't get the ebay one
Question Author
Thanks pikzee just posted! lol.!

Thanks redcrx - hmmm....

So do u think i should buy i new pram? Might get babys nanny and grandad to invest lol...
i cant say go buy a new pram nat, you buy what you like and what you can afford. But i wouldnt recommend using a second hand car seat unless you knew the history of it. And the cot death advice is not to use a second hand matress.
Question Author
ok no probs - thanks red!
If you do buy it then please please dont use the car seat!

We were lucky as my inlaws bought my pram, but if you can find an NCT nearly new sale near you, you can get some lovely prams, here is the site

http://www.nct.org.uk/local/events

Just put in your postcode to see where the sales are
i take it you werent keen on the pink one i sent you link to the other week lol
Question Author
Yeah i dont mind the pink one!!

Thanks for the NCT sale link - we've looked into that already and there's one being held near me on 12th May which we'll be going to!

Perhaps i should hold off till then....
Be warned, take plenty of money! We went to two and as i was pregnant at the first i bought shedloads! Cost me 50 for 3 huge bags! I am actually going to be selling at my next local one lol
Question Author
oh crikey! And there i was thinking it was a way to save money!! lol

Good news though - my parents are buying a pram for us! woo hoo!! xx
Its a great way to save money! I spent 100 on Emmy recently and got about 10 outfits, (from shops not NCT) so 3 bags for 50 is great!

Well done with the pram, my family bought lots of the big stuff, although i am getting a new pram delivered tomorrow as mine broke - ooh btw you should get your pram from John Lewis, fantastic service, they rarely refund prams but they did with mine, and we didnt have to prove the baby was less than 6 months either! Cant fault them!
Question Author
lmao - i thought u bought 3 big bags to put all your stuff in!!!!!! (now i think of it that was a really stupid thought...!!)lol!

Wow 50 is nothing when u consider the price of a lot of things they sell these days!

I'll defintely look into JOhn Lewis!

Still got my Baby Shower so will no doubt have plenty once the babys born!!

3rd Trimester this Saturday!!! woo hoo!!
Wow, thats gone quick! Then again Emmy is 6 months now, where did that go!
Question Author
awww bless!!! Yes time certainly does fly!
Hi nat! Congratulations and hope that all is going great! Not to plug my own stuff, or anything, but I have a book launching on Monday called "How To Have A Baby on eBay" - have a look here:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/s/ref=nb_ss_w_h_/203-5 375068-9106346?url=search-alias%3Daps&field-ke ywords=wiz+wharton&Go.x=15&Go.y=15&Go=Go

I just got my author copy back from the publisher and I'm really proud as I wrote it for my son and my mum. If you're interested, Amazon are doing it really cheap and the Sun newspaper are featuring it on MOnday 16th April with a really good reader offer. Hope you have a fantastic last few months xxx
Wow Wagon_Wheel that looks a fab book! I want your autograph now - a famous person on the AB! Yay! :oD
Awww, Princess, that's so sweet. I am sending you a virtual hug xx
