Is it normal to be pregnant but not have any symptoms? I've just done the test but have no sickness or breast tenderness etc. I was worried because my close friends who've had kids said their breasts were hurting even at about 3 wks.

Its not uncommon to have no symptoms at all. theres a post a few below this where symptoms are discussed. I just felt slightly different but certainly not sick or sore at all.

congratulations on your pregnancy!
I wouldnt worry too much. I had hardly no other symptoms other than morning sickness and didnt have any soreness of breasts until about 28 weeks +.

Congratulations on the fab news! xxx
maybe your very early on in pregnancy although you have tested positive. You may get your symptoms in a few weeks.
Every pregnancy is different and comparing yourself to other people is no good! If you have more than one pregnancy you will find out that EVERY pregnancy is different, even for you!
congratulations, with my first pregnancy i didnt have any sickness atall, or soreness.

Thanks. You've all really put my mind at rest. xx
Dont relax too much, I felt fine till about 6 - 7 weeks and then the extreme fatigue and all day sickness hit like a steamtrain!
I had symptoms with my first, with my next 2 I didn't at all. It turned out I wasn't making my own "mother" hormones, so they had to put me on Progesterone until I was about 12 weeks and the placenta would take over at that point. Don't know why, with my first, I had no problems with it at all. Only difference is the first was a girl and the next two were boys.
