Not feeling that pregnant!!
8 Answers
Hi,I am nearly 7 weeks pregnant, and apart from slightly sore boobs and cramping i have no major symptoms. I felt quite sick about 5 days ago for a week, but feeling not too bad recently. Is there anything wrong...i'm worried as i'm not having my scan until my 12th week!
Thanks in advance

Be grateful, by the end of you pregnancy when you're the size of a house and your hands and feet have swollen up like balloons and you can't even tie your own shoelaces you'll wish you were back at the stage you are now- believe me!
Congratulations by the way :-)

Firstly, congratulations, secondly, I was exactly the same. I had every symptom going the at around 7 weeks it all stopped and I had honestly thought it was (the pregnancy) all over. I even called my midwife and she insisted that everything was fine and that if something had happened......I wouldve known about it! Soon my symptoms started coming back but not as bad as they had been and not all of them.
I am now 12 weeks and 2 days and yesterday I had my first scan. Everything is going great! The baby is growing as it should be and it has a very healthy heartbeat!
My advice is that you just sit back and make the most of it! Incidently, I really didnt have any symptoms with my first (this is my second) and the first scan usually is done at 12 weeks. So try not to worry for the next 5 weeks, just look forward to see your baby for the first time on the scan!

Hi Michelle
Congratulations and here's to a happy and healthy pregnancy!
Think yourself as lucky hun. I am 18 weeks pregnant now and like you my only main symptoms at your stage were stomach cramps (still, that was bad enough!), sore boobies and tiredness. But I know some women go through hell and high water, so we have been lucky ;o)
I was so worried too before the scan, especially as I found out I was pregnant at 4 weeks, so had to wait ages for the first scan and it was horrible having to wait all that time. But honestly, I am sure you'll be absolutely fine. Just wait until you see your baby for the first time - amazing stuff!
Who knows what's to come but what I've learnt already is to take each day as it comes as there are so many things happening to your body and it can change daily, just try your best to relax and enjoy the experience.
All the best to you Michelle, hope all goes well.xx

Hi,
Just a follow on from my original message.....i spoke to my midwife and what a shock (this is exactly why people have so much anxiety in the first trimester)...she told me that having little syptoms was quite unusual and i may have had a missed miscarriage!! This was the first time i spoke to my midwife and as you can imagine i was very upset! I was away on a weekend break, and it was awful. Anyway i spoke to the antenatel clinic and the lady i spoke to was really nice and reassuring.
Thank you for all your responses.....it has calmed me down a bit!!
