Unfortunately thats a classic symptom at this stage. Are you able to take a nap at all during the day? Try and rest whenever you can. Eat plenty of fruit and vegetables and drink plenty of water.

When you reach the 2nd trimester, you should find your energy levels rising again.
I am EXACTLY the same!! just a week ahead of you. i am feeling a bit better than i was, but i still have days where i feel like i've had no sleep at all and i go to bed around 9.30-10 and get up at 6.30. i think it's just your bodies way of slowing you down - it's working pretty hard making a little life at the moment isn't it?

To be honest i'm giving into it as much as i can and my husband is doing everything at home. i'm just hoping that it's not for much longer!!

When you put it like that then I can see but why do I have to feel so sick on top of that!
My partner can be understanding at times but most of the time he isnt and gets quite annoyed with me!
I think that really doesnt help me.
I dunno, I'm just having a moan.... :O(
hows the tongue?

I dont know, I suppose I just forgot how hard pregnancy can be.

p.s bananas helped me or raisins are good
Congrats Red!
Girly, i was like that through most of my pregnancy, never really bloomed, just looked and felt tired! Sometimes i was in bed at 8.30 for the night!
lol it gets noooo easier, im 30 weeks pregnant (im only 21) and i feel like an old women lol, im tired - irratated, i get pressure pains, i cant sleep - ggrrrr lol x
Well all us expectant mums in the early stages have something to look forward to then! lol Ive just entered the 2nd trimester and was hoping for a bit of a boost myself......shall I give up on that happening now? lol
dont give up psychick! With my last pregnancy I felt fine and full of beans in the second trimester. I does get tiring later on but by that point you expect it to really as your body is taken over by the baby (well thats what it feels like).

You just have to make the best of the days that you feel good and rest on the ones you feel tired.
Congrats red! XXX

Girlygirl, I know we are about a day apart but I went thought this at about 6-7 weeks! I would get in from work, sleep for an hour or two, then get up have my dinner and be in bed by ten and sleep through again until 6am. It is wearing off now, and although I am sleeping from 10pm til 6am I don't need my afternoon nap anymore! I know how you feel though, it is crap. I couldn't concentrate on anything.

I really found that having a little nap helped, otherwise try bananas - they're full of energy.
