i doubt it as its usually occurs in the first trimester.
Count yourself lucky, i didnt get it with my first pregnancy and was chuffed to bits.
Still theres always the heartburn to look forward to in the last 2-3 months :)

speak to your midwife about the thrush and discharge as is can be the sign of a slight infection,.
Old wives tales are fun to listen to like carrying up front for a girl and all over for a boy but they dont really bear any relation to the sex of the baby.
Being scared is par for the course, its natural to be concerned, even more so when its your first.
if your gp has prescribed something then he obvuously isnt concerned about it.
