ask your midwife but i doubt itd be wise.
Believe me when you go into labour you'll get colonic irrigation free!
You shouldnt have a colonic until 3 -4 months after giving birth. Eat the right foods and you'l l feel better that way.
Why on earth would you want to?
I can see why you would want one. Pregnancy can make you a bit constipated and sluggish and a colonic is very energising Panic. Sounds horrible but once you have had one you will see why they are so popular. Helps get a lot of toxins out of your body and you feel like you have a new lease of life.
Syrup of figs is pretty effective too
Good advice here:

Colonic irrigation is quite fierce, which is why it is unadvisable during pregnancy. Even castor oil isn't recommended to bring on labour nowadays as it can be far too fierce.
Why stick a tube up your 4rse and flush out good healthy bacteria with warm water? It just doesn't make sense to me, if it really was any good it wold be free on the NHS and you wouldn't have to pay through the nose for it (or any other orafice for that matter). Take it from the likes of Goodsoulette and at least wait until after the sprog has been born before youb ask for rubber pipes to be inserted into your anus
Dammit, im agreeing with the Doc again!

What's wrong with me?
The doc BOO? where?
i would love to have that done colonic irrigation but would be worried what state my knickers would be in when i get home
That's johnlambert, BOO.

There's medication available if you want it :o)
oh...soz John, I thought it was the doc posting as that 4G4S, or whatever it is.

My apologies- still I feel less worried now, lol.
Colonic irrigation is far more evasive than an enema and an enema is very effective for constipation.

Nobody ever needs colonic irrigation - and you shouldn't have one whilst pregnant .

I can't believe people pay to get this done. In a hundred years everyone will be hysterical with laughter at the very idea.

I think colonic is a waste of time.

You may as well just stick a hosepipe up yr ar5e.

Like velcro what a rip off.......
Colonic irrigation.................it's not to be sniffed at !!!
oh no, I don't think putting velcro there is a wise move either.
Hello Betty Boop , I too strongly say no , I would not advise it during pregnancy . As redcrx said , ask your midwife for her opinion . :-)
maybe i just fancy some thing warm up my b*m lol
