when can dad feel the baby moving?
Hi all,
i think i'm starting to feel the baby move (i'm 16 weeks) and my husband is very keen to know when he'll be able to feel it....does anyone know? (I know it's different for everyone, but just as a rough guide)
thanks

My husband started to feel the baby move not too long after I started to feel it, as long as he had the patience to sit and wait for a kick.
Mow you have started to feel movements they will escalate in strength and frequency fairly rapidly, so it shouldn't be long before you can scare dad to death with the little kicks and punches.
I am now 29 weeks and starting to feel like a human punch bag. My husband can now regularly SEE the baby kick be to bits. I am hoping the baby sleeps more once it is born than it seems to do now!

with my first my fella felt baby before i did as he used to lie in bed with his hand on my bump and feel it when i was sleeping and quiet.
for movements during the day he had to wait until 20+ weeks when he could feel and see the very tiny movements when i was relaxed like in the bath. Thats when he realised he'd already felt it before :)

Im 20 weeks now and feeling regular movements (and Im sure it was doing the splits yesterday!) My boyfriend has felt it a couple of times over the pst week or two but only felt slight movement so far because baby seems to have a game with him........... he sits there with his hand on my bump and feels nothing, moves his hand away and baby kicks! A couple more weeks, at a guess, and your hubby will be able to enjoy the emotions of the first movements too!
Hi,
I first felt hmi move at 15wks, quite early for a first baby. My partner had a kick at 20wks, now he gets kicked in his back every morning and I think it's hilarious (I'm now 27wks) He's being kicked out of bed!!
My sis was different, she didn't feel her baby move until 18wks, and her partner wasn't able to feel a kick until 22wks+.
Depends on the individual and the baby really, but enjoy it it's such a great feeling!!

i am 21 weeks pregnant and i felt the baby move real quick like when i was like 2 and a half months pregnant (doctor says some may feel it from the very begining) but my husband first felt it real good when i was about 16-17 weeks so dont worry soon he will feel it tell him to be patient and soon he will feel it
(if the feeling you have in your belly feels like butterflies or just a pain tap or sometimes pressure that kind of hurts it is the baby)
good luck have fun
