Hey guys, hope your all well. Is it normal to feel some slight pain when baby moves / kicks out vigorously sometimes, as tonight he's been extremely active and causing me a bit of pain?
I think he's had a massive growth spurt over the last week as I've finally developed the dreaded stretch marks and my tummy has absolutely balooned. People keep telling me that I'm way bigger than I should be. My friend is having her baby in 4 weeks and I'm much bigger than her and I have 11 weeks to go, does that mean he's going to be monstrous?

You really cant judge whether baby is big or not by comparing your bump to someone elses as everyone carries differently. You may be carrying more fluid than your friend or she may be carrying more towards the back, and you the front. If you are worried about babys size then mention it next time you see your midwife, who will measure your bump anyway to keep a check on things. This is your first isnt it? This is my second pregnancy and, although both girls, I have carried differently this time so it really is hard to tell babys size so Im sure theres nothing to worry about.

I remember getting some really evil kicks!
Also, I was the largest ever with my last baby ~ and she was the smallest at 6lb. Bump size isn't really relevant to the bubbas size...a woman I know had a little football belly and gave birth to a 10 pounder.
When I was 6 months gone with my third people kept saying I looked fit to pop. I was, to be honest..however my belly size seemed to slow down, so I reckon it was just a mad month for growth!

MB baby will be starting to get bigger now and as such, when they kick, they can hit all sorts of body parts inside you that will be uncomfortable. Mine is happy as larry to sit and play punchbag with my cervix most of time.
What are you measuring? Has the midwife said theres any cause for concern? My uterus is measuring 2 weeks bigger than i am meant to be so I am off to see a consultant later in month. But then i do have history, with little CRX weighing 9lbs 6 at birth and getting his shoulders stuck.
I know some who never show and yet have big babies and others who are huge and have 5lb babies. Theres not pattern to it so just ask your midwife what she thinks.
