Is it or isnt it?
I mentioned in thread below that during the night I was getting mild pains. I was only noticing them after I had been down to the toilet and they were wearing off pretty quick and not coming back til I got up and went back to bed again. Ive not had nothing else since. Just got up from a little nap and believe I have just had a show.
I know the shows can happen for a week or so before labour actually begins but with the light pains as well, is it or isnt it?
As I never had any when I had my daughter, I just wondered what are your experiences of having shows?

Better to know if this is the start of a labour or not . I had a show at 9am and had pains on and off all day until getting to the hosp at 9,30pm and gave birth at 10.05 pm. Please let me know what you decide to do love .

Thanks bigmamma, I think Im going to get on with my day getting everything done just in case. Still have a few things to do and maybe make arrangements for my daughter to stay somewhere tonight if things do happen. I have got the numbers for the midwife/labour ward to hand though.
Of course, knowing me, Im likely to take a couple of paracetamols and go for a nap lol
My mum isnt going to be happy if this is it lol Shes on her way up north to my sisters for a week!

HI ladies, just called the labour ward and spoke to a lovely midwife. She doesnt think its quite labour yet but its definately close. Im to keep an eye on the contractions, which are all over the place at the moment, and an eye on bleeding/shows. Unless I have heavy bleeding, I dont need to call again til the contractions are longer, more intense and coming at a regular pattern or my waters break.
Ive sent my boyfriend out for food supplies lol Just trying to make arrangements for my daughter now.
I will pop on here as and when I can to keep you all updated and to help me pass time while Im waiting for it all to kick off properly!
