Hi ladies,
I hope your all well. I've been thinking of you all whilst I was in Hospital. Is Nat ok, has she popped yet? I hope Psy and Red are well.
I started having contractions at 4am on Good Friday morning and by 12pm was having them every 5 mins so went into hospital. By 1pm my waters broke naturally and then I went down to the labour ward as I was 3cm dilated. I then had Gas and air constantly from 1pm - 7pm when I was fully dilated. I then entered a whole world of pain as they took the gas and air away and I pushed and pushed and pushed for 2 and half hours with indescribable back pain. Henry got stuck unfortunately and so I had to be cut 3 times and they had to use the ventouse to help deliver him. He was born at 9.41pm on Good Friday evening and weighed 8lbs 5oz and is the most beautiful baby I've ever seen, with a full head of black hair. I stayed in hospital until today and am finally home. I want to thank you all for all your support and advice throughout the pregnancy. How are you all? xxx

sounds like you had a tough time. but i'm sure it was well worth it afterwards when you see your little henry. congratulations! welcome to the world henry! i'm very happy for you and to hear your good news. all the best to you and your family.

Congratulations Mountainboo. I have to admit, i did just cross my legs while i was reading that!! sounds like you've been thru the mill but i guess it's all worth it when you have your baby in your arms! I'm so happy it went well (i know it could have been better!)

so how did you know your contractions had started?? i was due today and every time i get a cramp or tightening i wonder if things are starting but i have no idea!! i was getting tightenings the other night every 5-9 minutes for over an hour but they stopped...could these still only be BH??

Wasnt the tough time you had delivering him worth it though? Im glad it all ended well for you both and hope he is settling in well. How are you doing now apart from being smitten lol I know its not going to be easy giving us updates for a while but let us know when you can and possibly get some pics to us?

I am incrediby jealous, I am still waddling round the house in my PJs (the only thing that fits me at the mo!) desperately waiting for a sign. Or anything really. I had a lot of pains yesterday, but it seems to come and go - I get lots for a day or so, get excxited, and then... nothing for days!

Enjoy your wonderful little boy Henry, and keep us posted on here - no doubt we will all be catching up on the parenting section soon as the next generation of AB pregnancies begin! xx

I have been following everyone's progress & updates for a while now although I have been in the background and not posted.
I'm just glad I have finally be able to post a reply to you! All I could get up yesterday was the front page and could see someone had had their baby on the recently answered bit but everytime I clicked on the link the page went blank! I was nuts trying to find out who it was! even to the point of e-mailing B00 to ask her to tell me! lol
