WARNING! Might put you off your brekki!

With my last pregnancy I didn't have much of a show as I was induced in hosp, but I'm 37 weeks this week and was walking (waddling) around the house and felt 'something' come down! I wiped myself and have a creamy jelly type substance! It seems to be coming down in litte bits now and again!

Is this a 'show'? and also can it last for days/weeks or it this the start of something????

I;ve got to stop coming on pregnancy section, I dont even have children and am not pregnant. I just had the loveliest cuddles of my mates 1 day old though. My uterus keeps flipping.

I'm a bit late I know..... sounds like great news Andrea (especially the BP). I had my "first" show at 36+5 but it was small and there was no blood in it, then about 10days later I had some more. I had a sweep on the Thursday morning (when I was 41+0), had a bloody show and there was substantially more then I continued to lose bits and peices (4get you have been warned several times by this point LOL) until my waters broke in the early hours of the Saturday morning. I eventually had her at 41+3.

Fingers crossed things start moving for you, especially while your BP is good. I am so excited for you xxx

P.S. Psy you were nominated along with WS by me, my bro said he contacted you to let you know about EMilia through facebook? In fact as I was teasing him about forgetting to message you because he was too entranced by WS's photo, my mum confirmed she was peeping over his shoulder to make sure he got the message right and he did send it to you too! Although he did tell me her though WS was "perfection".

Oh, and at my 40week appt Emilia's head still wasn't engaged so I wouldn't worry too much about that, they pop in and out as and when they feel :-)

Ye, i think things seem to be coming to an end now, so I have see it as a sign that things are moving.. albiet a bit slow... it's moving!

I'm putting into my mind that I could go a few more weeks but the midwife assured me that they wont let me go too far over my DD! So glad BP is low though... I was worried!

How is bubs??? Bet the little princess is already ruling the roost! Especially when it comes to dads! My hubby can't wait to see this little madam, he thinks she'll be daddy's girl! x x x x x

natalie he did message me but I didnt see it til some time later lol I did send him a message back but he was probably too busy day dreaming about WS to see it and pass the message on lol

My fella had to go back to work this week, and as much as he has found it hard I think he enjoys coming home to his little princess (and me!) and seeing how she has changed and what new things she does. He seems to have developed partial deafness though, mostly at 2am when she wants changing and a feed, I'm sure if I were to whisper "Do you want a beer?" he'd hear that though.....

Wouldn't surprise me Psy, he doesn't respond to me either. Even when I was working in the building next door to him, he would say he was too busy to respond to me yet always found time to chat on Bebo / Facebook to pretty female friends or boozy male friends. Typical 21 year old male.....pah!

ah 21, still a baby lol Isnt our hearing a strange thing? I always hear the baby stirring yet my boyfriend has to ask sometimes "did she wake in the night?" But when his alarm goes off in the morning, I dont hear that! Im out Friday night and he is getting full responsibility for the first time including the night feed, it will be interesting to see if he hears her then knowing he has to see to her.

How are you doing to day Andrea? Any more shows?

Mind you, it means that Mr CRX does at least one feed a night that way. He can take her, change her, feed her and put her back in crib without me even knowing.

Last night he did the 11.30 and 2.30, i did the 5am and he did the 7am feeds lol

I dont mind doing th night feeds as he gets her up in the mornings. It only means an extra 10 minutes during the week but he gets up with her at the weekends too giving me another couple of hours in bed! Its great lol Plus I only get one night feed now about 4am! lol

To be fair, I go to bed early (about 9ish) and he will often stay up until midnight so he does feeds between 7ish and midnight and I do them when he comes to bed, which is only really the 2am as when she wakes at 6 I am usually up anyway :-D

Anyway, madam is sleeping at the moment so I am going to crack on with the housework. Have a good day all, hope Andrea has some more news xx

hello........... yes that'll be it... ooh how exciting...... but it can happen a fortnight before... its not a sign of impending birth however i bet u wish it was.. i can remember being really fed up by week 37...lol and by week 41... i had about more than enough...my girl was late 12 days.. i had my plug about 38 weeks.. good luck

app you get thick discharge towards the end of pregnancy- im 37 weeks too and i been having it for about 2 weeks now app its nothing to worry about but obv if ur midwife said different then listen to her lol

Is it too soon to start speculating on whether shes had the baby? lol

Not too soon Psy, I had a gander on her facebook too to see if she had been about! How exciting. Oh I really hope things are moving for her and that everything goes well, I'm going to have everything crossed until we hear from her!
