New Arrival

I now have a beautiful baby girl called Erin Grace. She was born last thursday by emergency c-section and weighed in at 6lbs 9.5 oz. Glad that bits by with and now i can get on with the good bits. So far she has been really good but i've waited a long time for her so i'll put up with anything.

Congratulations hun!!!
I had my baby by emergency c section 6 months ago and she only weighed 1lb 15oz but she is ok now. Just one thing though make sure you take it easy!! I know it is difficult to rest with a new baby but you have just had major emergency abdominal surgery and honestly do what the hospital have told you to do. ie not lifting etc I know its difficult but its worth it in the end. My mum had me almost strapped to the bed when I got home but unfortunatly I didnt have my baby home for another 8 weeks.
I know how you feel (like you have been hit by a bus probably!)
But it gets better quicker than you will think I cant believe my baby is 6 months old now!!
But most of all congratulations on the arrival of your gorgeous baby x x x x x x x

have the liver problems you were experiencing all cleared up now?

Give it a week and you wont be able to remember what its like being without her.

btw you do start to go off dirty nappies soon enough lol especially once you start weaning, then its vile :)

Congratulations!! hope you are both well now! Nancy's nearly 9wks old and the I still don't mind the dirty nappies, the novelty hasn't worn off yet!!

Liver disorder has now cleared up. They checked all my levels on friday morning and everything is back to normal. Baby is a bit jandised but hoprfully that will clear up and she wont have any problems. Bit tearful just now. For some reason i decided to read babys notes and got myself into a state. Oh the joys!!

awwww ILS, baby blues can make you cry at drop of a hat hun, hope they clear soon.

Jaundice can be helped by getting baby out in natural light (not full on sunshine, but sat in shade on a sunny day). Shame the sun has gone on its holiday!
