my girlfriend had an abortion about 2 to 3 months & just find out that she is pregnant. so she decided to have another abortion by taking misfepristone & misoprostol pills so far she has took 2 of them & has not started bleeding or any thing & i had a discussion with her to keep the pregnancy as i did not want her to have abortion. i did ring nhs for advice but they told me that after taking the second pill called prostroblendin she should start bleading. that should break the uterus linning, in which after 4 to 6 hrs she will start bleeding. & advised that if she don't bleed there is no need for taking the third one. and should be safe to keep the pregnancy. the problem is she was given different tablet. different tablets & has not started bleeding yet. in which i am a bit confused & worried as i don't want to cause any complication. do you think it's to late to stop the proccess? will it cause any damage to the baby or my girlfriend. or is it too late to stop the proccess. what do you think i should do. please help
So she had an abortion but is still pregnant and has taken 1 or 2 pills but not bleeding. Why did she take the pills if she wants the baby. I am confused by your post.
I will say though, don't take any more pills and get to the docs asap. You need to ask a professional. There may be a chance she could still keep the baby safely I think.
I understand that the tablets force the lining of the uterus to come away (like a period) enforcing the removal of any other products (foetus) with it. therefore, it is not a "late period" if that period was not about to arrive unaided. it aborts any potential feotus, therefore it is an early abortion.
In my opinion , this is a total windup. The question has been put in several different sections to sucker in as many people as possible.
This is par for the course t the weekend.
If this is not a windup I will eat my hat-------- pass me the stetson when you know to the contrary.
"Medical Abortion (brand name Mifeprex) is a form of early abortion caused by the combination of two medications, mifepristone and misoprostol that is an option for women who are 8 weeks pregnant or less. Also known as RU486 or medication abortion. "
Rosetta, for the record.. I agree with you whole-heartedly and would share your stetson, if you're willing!
terambulan - I have had a miscarriage, and for your record it was officially recorded as an abortion, ie; the foetus had aborted (although involuntarily, in my case).
noun 1 medicine the expulsion of a foetus from the uterus before it is capable of independent survival, ie at any time up to about the 24th week of pregnancy
