Hi Velvetee. Congratulations!
I'll be brave here, and admit I was worried that my little girl would be ugly, and made several jokes about swapping her for a pretty one if she was a minger, or dying her hair if she was ginger (And before anyone starts - No, I don't have anything against ginger ppl, my mum's hair is naturally bright orange, it's just not something I'd choose for myself!)
I too worried that the baby might look like her daddy, who is great but no Brad Pitt! Anyway after spending 9 months worrying about all of this I gave birth to (in my opinion) the most gorgeous baby in the world!
I know she's not perfect she's had rash after rash on her face, she has bad circulation and spends a lot of time looking a bit blue and she's usually covered in sick (but thats another story) but to me she's perfect and I love her!
Also my brother was THE ugliest baby ever! My parents both told the midwife they thought he was hideous. But they do love him, and after a while he turned into a very hansome baby/child/man (he's 21 so technically a man, but....)
Its not shallow or wrong to worry about how your child looks it's part of wanting the best for him/her.
Anyway, I hope you have a very nice, stress free pregnancy. If looks are all you have to worry about, you should count yourself as very lucky!
