anyone know what i can take with a cold? can i have lemsips or cough medicines?

you poor thing. All i can say is the only medicine thats ok to take is paracetomol. do not take any decongestants at all.

try menthol steam and perhaps honey in hot water with lemon.

i hope you feel better soon
They told me at the hospital, the only thing safe to take is Paracetamol, but like Red said, no decongestants, also no Ibuprofen.

I'm praying I don't get a cold, as a fan of Lemsip Max, not sure how I'd get through it without it.
Oh Midwife also said I could take a "Simple Linctus" for coughs.

i had the same bother when I was pregnant, but i felt that ill anyway i didn't want to take anything but people kept offering me tablets and lemsip etc

but i'm a funny one when it comes to medicines anyway. i'll only take something if the doctor prescribes it. i wont even take tablets for a hangover!!! self inflicted!!!

thanx for your answers i tryed the lemon and honey and now i cant stop drinking it :D it really help and i never thought id like the tast of it, but can u drink to much herbal tea as now i cant stop drinking it lol
