Does anyone know of any Maternity Wear websites, that sell trendy clothing? I've searched high and low and the only one I like is Isabella Oliver, but I don't want to spend so much on pregnant clothes.

I've looked at Seraphine, Picchu, Verbaudet, Vive la Maternity, Blooming Marvellous, Mothercare and a number of others, but they're clothing is all pretty stiff looking.

Thanx

Hi

It depends how much you want to spend. I found Next clothes were the best and also New Look.

I had lots of bother with things falling down and not sitting right when I bought from cheaper places like Peacocks

Thanks, not keen on next maternity, I thought it was a bit dowdy. I might have a look in New Look, but generally can't stand all the untidyness of their stores.
New look are on line too, if you cant stand the actual shop! Like carron I used to go to next and newlook and also just wore bigger sizes, because I never got huge!

I also got some stuff from here - www.funmum.com

Just remember you'll probably end up wearing this stuff afer the baby's born too, so you might aswell get stuff that you like!

Think I'll have to bit the bullet and buy from Isabella Oliver. I'll not find it easy parting with 80 for a top, but I guess main thing is I like it.
I shopped at Blooming Marvellous when I was expecting our first child, and because I grew huge very quickly, I also had some stuff made, but when it came to our second baby, I didn't bother with all the special clothes - just shopped around for some floppy tops and elasticated trousers.

I've found maternity wear really crappy too.
Mothercare stuff is awful! Blooming marvelous has been the best online I've found. The jeans are really nice and comfy. Topshop maternity is good and not frumpy but you have to find the bigger stores to stock it and even then there's not much choice so you have to snap up what they've got. Its really slim pickings everywhere though, I've been so frustrated that you can just buy maternity versions of the clothes I normally buy.
Dragons Den anyone????
Blimey- you're all so lucky nowadays! I remember when maternity trousers were a novelty, + the usual gear was a tent-shaped dress with a huge bow at the neck to "distract the eye" from the bump! xx
Sounds lovely bathsheba!! Comfy though I imagine?? lol!
Yep, lolly- i have to admit they were! xx

Thanks, hadn't thought of Top Shop, so will have a look. Asos have some nice things too, but their maternity collection is very limited.
I got some lovely stuff from ebay. Tops from Blooming Marvelous, JoJo Maman Bebe & Mamas & Papas - all under 5 each - they all look brand new. Ebay has saved me a fortune :o)
