ah, i was one that learnt never to google anything in pregnancy too. You can scare yourself silly!

I shall start by saying i have no experience of this and obviously any worried should be talked about with your midwife.

When you were scanned what was said? did you see just the sonographer? or a consultant or midwife at the hospital? Usually if there was some concern then youd have seen someone there or been given an appt for a follow on check and to see a consultant.

Now google will always have scary stories and details but they are often the extremes. Babies come in all sizes and it may just be that you grow small babies.

BUT saying all of this if i were you id call the midwife and see if she can at least telephone you and explain things to you in laymans terms so that you dont worry about what ifs and maybes. I called my midwife a few tinmes and talked over the phone rather than make an appt.

i was sent to the sonographer by a consultant, i was seeing her because my 1st baby was a bit early,
all she said to us was you just need to see your mid-wife and she will keep an eye on you,
i guess if there was a majour issue she would of sent me back to the consultant who sent me to her in the 1st place.

im going to demand an appointment with my mid-wife this week get things sorted!
thanks
